What is an affiliate link?

Some links on this site — usually links to buy a specific machine, grinder, or accessory — are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, the retailer or brand may pay us a small commission. This costs you nothing extra; the price you pay is the same either way.

Where you'll see this

Any page that contains affiliate links carries a short reminder near the top, plus this full policy linked from every page's footer. Affiliate links are currently shown as placeholders (for example, [AFFILIATE LINK: product name]) while we finish setting up our affiliate accounts. Once live, they will be normal "check price" or "view on [retailer]" links.

Does this affect what we recommend?

No. Our guides are based on publicly available specifications, retailer information, and published reviews — not on which products pay the highest commission. We do not accept payment from brands to write favourable reviews.

We haven't personally tested these products

As explained on our About / How We Research page, we do not claim hands-on testing of any product mentioned on this site. Our guides are research-based comparisons, and we say so clearly wherever it's relevant.
